Alliance to Promote Abilities and Rehabilitation (ATPAR) is a Limited Liability Partnership firm. This is a social enterprise that aspires to work with marginalized groups, persons with disabilities and their families either
directly or with organizations/institutions who work with these groups to build their abilities for Economic Empowerment, Social Inclusion and Rehabilitation.
Its founder members are Mrs. Thilakam Rajendran, special educator by profession, who has been involved with the disability
sector for more than two decades in the area of skill building and creating employment opportunities for persons with disabilities,
while Mr. K V Rajendran has been in the corporate sector for 40 years contributing in the areas of HR, business development and
supporting foundations in CSR activities. A team of eminent professionals have come together to facilitate and offer a gamut of
services to individuals, educational institutions, Corporates, NGOs, Families and other service providers through Consultancy,

Abundance joy is so visible in this mother who knit her child's cap, yet cannot see the crowning glory as she is visually challenged! Her knitting skills lead to make her an confident Entrepreneur as she sells to tourists her machine knit woolen accessories! Disability has never been her real challenge! Her challenge is to scale her business and get new machine and some seed money for raw materials! Hat's off to her entrepreneurial spirit!
